In this short experimental film, I use layered imagery, abstraction, and poetic symbolism to question how isolated we become, even when constantly connected. It combines performance, fabric installation, projection, shadow play, and digital distortion to visualize the inner effects of algorithmic isolation.
In the Aquarium, 2023
This experimental short film explores the tension between solitude and social connection. Inspired by a turtle in an aquarium, the video draws a metaphor between surfacing to breathe and the emotional effort it takes to rejoin social life. Reflecting on Sartre’s concept of the “gaze,” the project uses symbolic imagery and editing techniques to express the struggle of being seen, understood, and accepted while staying true to oneself.Back
